Possible Construction Delays on Hwy 83 Until Fall 2025!

Construction, including road resurfacing and the addition of turn lanes, will take place on Hwy 83 starting in April until fall of 2025. Hwy 83 is expected to be open to all businesses but there may be delays during peak times. You may wish to take a different route to class to avoid the uncertainty. Please consult your GPS or maps apps (apple, google, waze) for help. We have listed two possible detours – one from Hwy 16 and one from I-94 – as suggestions. We just want everyone to be safe and aware.

From the North:
Exit Hwy 16 to go South on North Shore Drive
Turn right (north) on Richards Road
Continue on Richards Road past the first Walnut Ridge Drive (Walnut Ridge curves around the industrial park)
Turn left (west) onto the second Walnut Ridge Drive
Turn left (south) into the first driveway on the left

From the South:
Exit I-94 to go North on Hwy 83
Turn right (east) on Golf Road
Turn left (north) on Maple Avenue
Turn left (west) on North Shore Drive
Turn right (north) on Richards Road
Continue on Richards Road past the first Walnut Ridge Drive (Walnut Ridge curves around the industrial park)
Turn left (west) onto the second Walnut Ridge Drive
Turn left (south) into the first driveway on the left
